Implementing an Energy Monitoring System (EMS) using mertensteinke`s open standard data acquisition platform MAP.X and EDM.console software for energy data management allows organizations to identify the sources and timing of energy consumption. The monitoring of energy consumption provides data to plan and prognosticate daily operations at facility sites and buildings as well to target and implement energy conservation measures that will reduce energy consumption and costs.
